Nissan Magnite Base Model Features List

The Nissan Magnite base model XE comes equipped with a respectable number of features. It does not, however, have an audio system or other necessary characteristics. Nevertheless, considering the price of the vehicle in relation to its size and SUV-like appearance, one can readily opt for aftermarket modifications. For the asking price, you won’t feel like it’s lacking many features—all you need to do is add some aftermarket accessories.

Nissan Magnite Base Model Engine Specs

The Nissan Magnite base model is limited to a 1.0L standard gasoline engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. At 6250 rpm, this engine generates 72 PS of power and 3500 Nm of torque.

Because of its comparatively reduced weight, the Magnite has a strong power-to-weight and torque-to-weight ratio even if its power and torque statistics are lower than those of its competitors. This engine is sufficient if the car will solely be used for city commutes. On roads, though, it will probably find it difficult to overtake quickly. The standard petrol engine of the Magnite mated to a manual gearbox, is reported to have 18.75 kmpl of fuel efficiency.

Nissan Magnite Base Model Dimensions

The Magnite is 1572 mm tall, 1758 mm broad, and 3995 mm long.  The wheelbase of the Magnite is 2500mm. Compared to its peers in the sub-4m sector, it is nearly as long. Compared to its peers, it features a rather low roofline. Its 336L boot capacity is superior to that of the Maruti Brezza and the Mahindra XUV300.

Slightly behind the Tata Nexon, the Magnite boasts one of the greatest ground clearances in its class at 205mm. The Magnite’s base model has 16-inch wheels that are identical in size to those of the higher models.

Nissan Magnite Base Model Design

The Magnite has an SUV-like subcompact form. But we think it looks more like the Datsuns of today. (In case you missed it, Datsun was originally planning to introduce the Magnite; however, this plan was shelved for a variety of obvious reasons.) Chrome is used well throughout the entire design. The overall design has a good deal of ridges and claddings, which contribute to the SUV’s uniqueness. There is a stylish 205mm of ground clearance in addition to the unique style of the 16-inch alloy wheels shod in 195/60 rubber.

In addition to the beautiful tail lamps, there are two useful roof rails that can support up to 50 kg—unlike many competitors, who only use them as fashion accessories! There are a few noticeable panel gaps, but the build quality is generally rather good!

Platform

The brand-new CMF-A+ platform from the Renault-Nissan partnership serves as the foundation for the Magnite. At the time, the CMF-A+ received a lot of attention for being “too roomy for its size.” The Nissan Magnite base model cabin exhibits a similar feeling of vastness. It would be difficult for you to believe that you are sitting within a shell constructed on an extended Kwid/Redigo platform! The CMF-A+ bed is substantially longer than the CMF-A bed on the Kwid, and it is also much wider with a 2500mm wheelbase.

The Nissan Magnite base model receives additional technology, such as a new anti-roll bar and redesigned front suspension, to reduce body roll and offer a planted, comforting ride. Anticipate the forthcoming Renault Kiger SUV to be built on the same platform and with comparable specifications.
